Finally, the customers were satisfied with our one-stop lighting solution.
Considering the customers with a limited budget, we lower the quantities of the light poles. As you know, the costs of the light poles are very expensive, more quantities more costs. Surely, the uniformity of the 6 light poles may be much better than the 4 poles. But we need to design the right solution to meet the customer’s requirements.
For projects and clients with ample budgets, it should be suggested that more quantities of light poles or higher light poles achieve great lighting effects and outstanding uniformity.
Plus, if the lighting project for Televising broadcast or higher illuminance and uniformity, they’re all available and the solutions will be different.

From this lighting solution, we can find that the uniformity is really excellent! More light poles, more lamps, greater uniformity. Thus, the lighting effects are great! Do you like it?
Well, you may wonder that what is uniformity in lighting?
The uniformity of illuminance refers to the ratio of the minimum illuminance to the average illuminance on the specified surface. The more uniform the light distribution, the better the illuminance and the more comfortable the visual experience. The closer the illuminance uniformity is to 1, the better, otherwise the smaller the more visual fatigue. [From Google]
Thus, the outstanding uniformity is good for the players, spectators and referees. If the LED stadium lights with excellent uniformity, flicker-free, and low glare are perfect for televising broadcast and camera.
What is the general requirements for illumination uniformity?
TV television broadcast of domestic matches, horizontal illuminance uniformity of 0.5 or more, vertical illuminance uniformity of 0.4 or more.
The horizontal illuminance uniformity of 0.7 or more and the vertical illuminance uniformity of 0.6 or more for color TV broadcasting of international matches, and the ratio of the average horizontal illuminance to the average vertical illuminance is between 0.5 and 2.0.
Illumination requirements for the spectator stand: the average vertical illumination is 0.25 times the illumination of the competition area. [From Google]

To meet the high requirements for Televising broadcast and camera, we designed the uniformity greater than 0.8. And there are 3 lighting modes in our Dialux solution that address the customer’s needs.
Why they need 3 different lighting modes and how to use?
If a stadium field lighting system has 3 different lighting modes, then they can save much energy and lower the power consumption. Let’s take a look at the data about different levels of play below.
Professional Level & TV: 2000lux (International & National Competitions)
High-Level Training: 500lux (Customer requirement)
We can learn that the whole sports lighting system is over 2000lux, but this solution is only for Professional Level Use and is not often used yearly, it’s not appropriate to turn on all the sports lights when training, that will waste lots of energy and pay more electricity bills. But the training level requires 500lux, so there’s no need to light up the whole system at such a high illuminance of 2000lux.
With the DMX smart control system and our LED sports lights with dimming functions, customers can adjust the lighting output from over 2000lux to 500 and 200lux by DMX system easily.
Moreover, we can also check and do well the maintenance at some time by the maintenance lighting mode. The customers can check and test the LED stadium lights whether they’re good or not by the DMX system if needed, it’s quite vital and useful before the big events and professional competitions. If there are some unworked lights after checking, then we can take some new stadium lights to replace them to ensure the competition goes smoothly.
