Stadium Lighting Design Guide
1. Lighting parameter index
1.1 Horizontal illumination
Horizontal illumination is mainly used to determine the visual condition of the eye in the wild field, and as a visual background to highlight the target (athlete and object). Usually, the horizontal illumination of the whole field can be 0.5-2.0 times of the vertical illumination, and the horizontal illumination of the competition field can be 0.75-1.5 times of the vertical illumination
1.2 Vertical illumination
Vertical illuminance can be used to simulate the light on the athlete's body. The selected height corresponds to the upper body and face of the athlete. The vertical illuminance mainly affects the stereoscopic effect, and can provide the best recognition for cameras and various personnel. Where vertical illuminance is specified, horizontal illuminance can usually be determined
1.3 Uniformity of illumination
The ratio (U1) of the minimum illuminance (Emin) to the maximum illuminance (Emax) on the specified surface, and the ratio (U2) of the minimum illuminance (Emin) to the average illuminance (Eave). Uniformity can be used to control the visual conditions on the entire site . U1 is good for visual function, U2 is good for visual comfort. In order to avoid inapplicable illuminance contrast and ensure the sensitivity of the camera in different directions, both horizontal illuminance and vertical illuminance should have sufficient uniformity
1.4 Illumination Gradient
The illuminance gradient represents the rate of change of illuminance between adjacent grid points. Illumination gradients are used to control rapid changes in illumination levels between grid points. When there is TV broadcast, the requirements for the illuminance change rate between adjacent grid points on the horizontal or vertical plane: when the illuminance calculation and measurement grid is 1-2m, it should not exceed 10% per 2m; when the illuminance calculation and measurement grid When it is 5-10m, every 5m should not exceed 20%. For non-television broadcast, it should not exceed 20% and 50% respectively
1.5 Color and its properties
The color characteristics of light sources include color appearance and color rendering. The color table represents the color performance of the illuminated environment, and the color rendering represents the characteristics of light that truly displays the color of an object. The color appearance of the light source can be described by the correlated color temperature Tk, and the range of the correlated color temperature is mainly within 3000-6000K. The correlated color temperature of each lamp should not be too high. When artificial lighting and daylight lighting are combined, the correlated color temperature of the lighting lamp should be greater than or equal to 4000K. The color rendering of the light source can be expressed by the color rendering index Ra, the theoretical maximum value of Ra is 100, the higher the Ra, the better the picture quality.
1.6 Glare Index
The glare index GR can be used to evaluate the degree of glare. The GR value ranges from 0 to 100. The larger the GR value, the greater the glare, and the more uncomfortable the human eye feels. The smaller the GR value, the smaller the glare, and the less uncomfortable the human eye will feel.
1. Lighting standard value
2.1 Basketball, volleyball field lighting standard value
For those who play basketball and volleyball, they will be divided into amateur, professional, and full-time. Similarly, court equipment is also classified, such as basketball court lighting, which is divided into 6 categories according to industry standards (International Lighting Association): Ⅰ (Training and entertainment activities), Ⅱ (amateur competition/professional training), Ⅲ (professional competition), Ⅳ (TV broadcasting of national/international competitions), Ⅴ (TV broadcasting of major international competitions), Ⅵ (HDTV broadcasting of major international competitions), of course, In reality, there are many foreign-operated basketball courts with lower standards than I (training and entertainment). Choose the lighting level of the basketball court according to the actual needs of your basketball court, and the cost performance will be good.
2.2 Football standard
Football lighting is divided into indoor football field lighting and outdoor football field lighting, and the installation of lights in different venues is also different. The standard should be based on the function of the football field to determine the standard of lighting, divided into seven levels, training and entertainment illuminance 200lx, amateur games 500lx, professional games 750lx, general TV broadcast 1000lx, large international games high-definition television broadcast 1400lx, TV emergency 750lx.
2.3 Baseball, softball design
The outdoor baseball stadium is divided into infield and outfield, and there are two illuminance values in each box in the table. The value in front is the illuminance value in the infield, and the value in the back is the illuminance value in the outfield. The illuminance value listed in the table is to maintain the average illuminance, the maintenance factor is 0.9, and the constant illuminance technology is 1.0, and this value can be reduced to 0.7 for foggy and heavily polluted areas
1. Lighting in other areas, and electrical safety requirements for lighting equipment and accessories
1.1 Auditorium lighting
The average horizontal illumination of the seating surface of the audience should not be less than 100lx, the illumination of the podium should not be less than 200lx, and the vertical illumination of the seating surface of the first 12 rows of the audience near the competition area should not be less than 25% of the vertical illumination of the venue
3.2 Security lighting
When the normal lighting is extinguished due to failure, safety lighting should be installed in places where the safety of personnel in potential danger needs to be ensured. The illuminance value of safety lighting should not be lower than 5% of normal lighting
3.3 Evacuation lighting
In order to ensure the safe evacuation of personnel, the minimum illumination of the exit and passage of the stadium should not be less than 1lx, and the average illumination should not be less than 10lx
3.4 maintenance factor
The recommended illuminance value is maintenance illuminance. Maintaining illuminance is related to the lighting time of the light source and the maintenance of the lamp and environment. When designing the lighting scheme, the maintenance coefficient should be given according to the selected lighting equipment, space environment and determined maintenance scheme
3.5 Electrical safety requirements include equipment protection against electric shock, enclosure protection and heat resistance. Only Class I, Class II and Class III lamps can be used in stadium lighting
Lighting fixtures shall be Class I lamps with metal housing ground continuity or Class II lamps with plastic housing.
The underwater lamps installed in the swimming pool should use the lamps with the anti-shock grade of Class III, and the external and internal line voltage should not exceed 12V
